TSP Scale X Landing Program: Bridging Thailand's Innovation Ecosystem with the World
The TSP Scale X Landing Program is the bridge that Thailand's National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) has built to connect the country's innovation ecosystem with the rest of the world. Officially launched in July 2026, this structured "soft landing" initiative is designed to support startups and innovation-driven companies expanding into Thailand, ASEAN, and global markets.
One Ecosystem, Two Growth Pathways
At the heart of the program lies the concept of "Two Journeys, One Ecosystem." This philosophy translates into two distinct pathways designed to meet the specific needs of both Thai and international startups.
For international startups, the program serves as a genuine launchpad into Southeast Asia. It offers comprehensive support, from understanding the local market to connecting with industry partners, alongside access to R&D infrastructure and pilot project opportunities. The goal is to reduce the friction and risk of entering a new and complex market.

For Thai startups, the program opens doors to a global network of partners, investors, and international markets. The ambition is clear: to prepare local innovators to compete and grow on the world stage, equipping them with the tools needed to expand beyond national borders.
A 360-Degree Support Model
The TSP Scale X Landing Program goes beyond simply connecting people—it offers a complete support ecosystem. Participants gain access to:
- Workspace facilities and NSTDA's R&D infrastructure for testing, computing, and prototyping
- A guided pathway for company establishment in Thailand
- Access to talent pools from leading educational and research institutions
- Connections to national funding programs and visibility opportunities
Focus on High-Potential Sectors
The program is designed for tech startups operating in key sectors including AI and digital technologies, future food, life sciences and health, sustainability and climate tech, smart cities, robotics and automation, advanced manufacturing, and deep tech. Admission is reserved for startups with a solid business model whose product or solution is market-ready within 12 months.

A Network of Strategic Partners
The program's strength lies in its network of strategic partners, transforming it into a crossroads of international innovation. On April 28, 2026, Thailand Science Park (TSP) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hong Kong's Cyberport. Building on a collaboration that began in 2024, this partnership aims to create a mutual market-access gateway and strengthen cooperation in sectors such as AI, FinTech, and smart cities. An early success of this collaboration is the admission of Nano Coating Tech, a Thai startup specializing in nano-coatings, into Cyberport's incubation program, where it secured a substantial grant to support its growth.
The network also extends into mainland China. In November 2025, TSP signed an MoU with the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Youth Innovation and Entrepreneur Hub (Ehub), again with the goal of establishing an "innovation corridor." Nano Coating Tech also became the first Thai startup accepted as a member of Ehub.
How to Apply
Applications for the program officially opened on July 15, 2026, and will remain open until August 15, 2026. Following an initial screening phase, selected startups may be invited to an online interview between September and October.

An Ecosystem Without Borders
With the TSP Scale X Landing Program, Thailand isn't just opening its doors to international startups—it's building a dynamic, interconnected ecosystem where innovation can flourish without borders. As Dr. Chularat Tanprasert, Director of Thailand Science Park, stated, the program is designed to "reduce barriers and risks for international startups entering the market, while supporting Thai startups in reaching global standards." The ambition is bold: to make TSP a platform where global innovation meets local industry.
